New Year's resolutions are great in many ways
Updated: Feb 11, 2019
New Year's resolutions prompt us to think about making positive changes in our lives. "This year is going to be better!"
How are those going? It's January 31. Time to check in. Are you on track? Is progress being made? Maybe it started out great but has started to fall off? For some it never really started.
If you're going full steam, awesome! Keep going. Take stock of the progress you've made. Remind yourself why this was important to you. Soak in the great feeling of accomplishment, but don't rest on your laurels. Push forward.
If you have fallen of the wagon a bit, don't give up on it. Get back on the wagon. You will likely have several times throughout the year when you stumble. That's ok. Don't beat yourself up over it. Get after it. This was important enough to you that you made a resolution.
If you never started, do it now. Today! Don't wait another day. So what if it's January 31 and not the 1st. No better time than now.
Rededicate yourself to your resolutions every day and see it through, regardless of what happened yesterday.
