Friday challenge: Get outside and enjoy the sunshine.
On select Fridays I will pose a challenge to you, the reader, to improve your lives and careers in some small way. Do you accept the challenge?
The sun has a powerful effect on all of us. The warmth, brightness and physical interactions it has in helping generate things like vitamin D make it a necessary part of life. Too often, though, we spend nearly all of the daylight hours inside an office and don't take time to get outside and enjoy it.
Soak up some rays.
It's not possible every day, as we have seen in the Midwest from far too much rain. But, when the sun does break through the clouds, take your own break. It doesn't have to be for the whole afternoon. Maybe it's just a 15 minute stroll through town or a nearby park.
The positive effects it will have on your energy level and your attitude in general will make you more productive and just a happier person. You can afford the investment of a few minutes.
Let the power of the sun inside your soul on a regular basis.
